Community Liaison Service Team

Introduction

In order to allow the public to better understand the development proposals in the San Tin Technopole, and to actively reach out to the affected residents and stakeholders, a Community Liaison Service Team for San Tin Technopole has been formed by Lands Department and Civil Engineering and Development Department.

The Community Liaison Service team is being operated by the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service. To ensure better understanding by the local community of the development and progress of the San Tin Technopole project and general arrangements on compensation and rehousing matters, the team has taken the initiative of contacting the affected residents and other stakeholders. At the same time, the team will collect views and aspirations from them so that the Government could respond as soon as possible. If necessary, the team will also provide counselling to the affected residents and make referrals to the relevant welfare organization/government departments.
